If Imu is the final villain that Luffy has to defeat then Imu will probably be a male not a female.

Oda will never have Luffy fight a female character especially if she ends up being beautiful, he never fought Boa and despite the build up he never fought Big Mom either.

Unless Imu ends up being a really ugly looking female then maybe and even then I'm still doubtful.

Unless Sabo/Dragon fight her, Luffy even during rooftop never attacked Big Mom.

If Imu is a female then it depends what her design looks like, I'm not too sure if Oda will have Dragon or Sabo fight Imu if Imu turns out to be a beautiful female.

Usually when it comes to the female characters, he usually has another female character fight them. Big Mom was obviously an exception because she was a Yonko and she wasn't beautiful, so unless it turns out that Imu is a ugly female then I don't think Dragon, Sabo, or even Luffy will fight Imu.

I don't actually recall the Ancient Kingdom lore well enough to make a call on this.

I think she's at least as old as the World Government itself. As for her allegiances before the World Government was founded, I have no good guesses.

Unless Sabo/Dragon fight her, Luffy even during rooftop never attacked Big Mom.

But he did defeat Alvida and he fought against the Boa sisters. And he clashed against Linlin during WCI.

Luffy never attacked Linlin on the Rooftop simply because Kaido was eating 90%+ of the Supernova's attacks as he was the star of that battle. Linlin was just playing support.

And Yamato has shown that Oda can actually write formidable female fighters.

Well let's hope that Oda actually has Imu stay as a threatening villain and not have Imu turn out to be another Spandam or Orochi like character when his design and personality is revealed.

We've already seen aspects of Imu's personality:

• She enjoys relaxing with flowers
• She likes playing with butterflies

I expect that she'll be refined, elegant and graceful in the style of Mihawk. I can't even imagine the Gorosei bowing to an Orochi or Spandam like character.

Don't forget that Lucci and Co looked down on Spandam. Incompetent leaders aren't worshipped by their subordinates.

Right now it seems like you are just making headcanon for what you hope Imu ends up being, I think it's best to keep the expectations really low for Imu until we see his design and personality as well as learning more about his character.

For all we know, Imu may not actually be a combatant in her own right and Luffy may fight someone guarding her or something.

I don't see Imu being ugly. The slender fingers, the flowers and butterflies make me think she would be pretty in the way Oda draws his pretty women (slender, curvy, long hair, etc.).

I do agree that Oda is not going to draw Luffy pounding in the face of a pretty woman.

If Imu is a combatant, I expect her to be a Kaguya like existence.

I don't disagree. I was just saying that we do know some things about their personality. It's not the case that we're totally blank.

I don't think the little we've seen of Imu is consistent with an Orochi or Spandam like character.

It seems unlikely that Imu is goofy given the scenes of them we've seen so far. It's not like we've never seen them do stuff.

We can probably guess that Imu doesn't speak often and so is taciturn in nature.

yeah you are puling your leg, Oda want to fool around more in final saga.

The sabo part is making IMU getting exposed sooner than people thought, if you believe sabo is still alive . Dragon already know the IMU secret existence
