Aggressively putting vote onto charlie, only unvotes after role claim
Just didnt like it
:kayneshrug:
they most likely wont get lynched, just putting it in anyway
If you can put your vote on someone who can be lynched it would be better, because I have a town read for Ratchet now for game behaviour and the way he voiced the suspicion on Charlie (very similar as vibe with how town Ratchet tunneled me in old games) - putting the explanation here for the new players, not because it's needed for this game.

What's your time zone? I would like to talk more, hope it's not late at you

Why don't you want a D1 lynch?
Why the idea of throwing? Everyone should play with what they see

i think its unfun, especially for the person getting lynched
"throwing" as in the idea of voting to lynch the wrong person

Avoided Inno/Guilty at first then directly answerd Inno/Guilty after @oddoddfruit asked followed by complaining about inno/Guilty asking for a lie detect.

This is the typical scum reaction of inno/Guilty.
It´s not. I was not taking it serious the first time because unless lie detect it is pointless but I got asked a second time and answered it as you didn´t stop asking. The typical scum reaction would have been to ignore it the second time. Someone can still lie detect me btw, even GF wouldn´t be able to trick a lie detect I think?

@Joygirl Can you claim please? In the interests of time I'm eager to not stall on this.

@Alwaysmind You probably should too, but I doubt you will.
This claiming shit again? Why is it always me? Same situation on OLF and in both rounds town will fall on their faces if they lynch me because I´m town. And I don´t understand why I out of all players am always forced into claimining, this sucks!

Claim:

Ataru Moroboshi

I can copy a complete role during Night 2, so until then I´m vanilla.

Voting no lynch isn’t throwing if you think it helps you achieve your wincon but understand that we’re playing forum mafia and there will be blood.

I’d argue it’s more fun having the ever present threat of a game over happening to keep me on my toes

Cool, then we can talk :)
For me is 12:26 (GMT+2)

I don't know how the other games you played influenced your game view, but lynching is part of mafia, giving information for town when there's no infos at all.
Even if we lynch the wrong person, we can analize how the pushes on the player went, if it was in good or bad faith, and try to check D1 reads based on that.
The vote is town's best weapon, the answer to pressure can show alignament and the way other people react at a wagon by posts or votes on counter wagons gives infos in the game after a few flips.

For me, the way you said Ratchet will look like a clown is he is wrong, like you knew Charlie is town, the way you don't push anyone but voted Ratchet and explained only because I asked, the fear of misvoting show low focus in solving the game and that for me means scum behaviour.

I have you as town here, and don’t worry about the injustice of it all. So today just isn’t your day, it happens, tomorrow you could be a god. Stay alive as long as you can

statisically you shouldnt be lynching on day 1, you have a higher chance of lynching town and if its a mass vote, you gain almost no information. just my personal view and you guys might gain information but i dont as i know hardly anyone, so i dont know anyones playstyle

I’ve been absolutely obliterated several times playing this game, still come back for more
Playing since Shanks asked me to play in Oct 2018, and going in many sites to play with people with different playstyles and game behaviour, feeling a roller coaster of emotions on the games when I imply myself totally regardless outcome and alignament, forum mafia is for me a mind game and I appreciate everyone who makes this game interesting and thrilling.

Where this statistic comes from?
And if true:
Why do you think voting is a shot in the dark?
Why don't you try to find answers to reduce the bad probabilities?

If 4 Maf, 2 indi is true
you have double the chance of it being a townie
:kayneshrug:

its a shot in the dark for me as i dont know how anyone plays here and i dont know if anyone is playing irregularly

I played an anon game, who just finished last night.
That means all the players were playing with hidden alternate accounts to hide their main one, and despite being a madness game town succeeded to push, pressure and kill 2 mafia in day 1.

That for
i know hardly anyone
See, mafia can be played when everyone hides their identity to not have meta, so meta is not so important

Of course there was a skilled mafia player who fought for the wolf win, but that's another story.

The thing is, day 1 is the most important day, and if town stays passive waiting for mechanical solve, they loose the game because they let the wolves take the control of the game.

If we let the wolves to make the wagons or if we let them hide in non voters (look at the vote count, we barely have votes in the game) then what you said is correct, but it's town's job to make things differently

We are 17 and the biggest wagon was of 3 players on a claimed power role.
That means the wolves didn't care about the wagon.
Things like these can be spotted without knowledge about how people play
