Don't think so. I believe the flames are what makes this impossible. Whenever King bursts out in flames all of Katakuri's mochi melts immediately. Even if he foresees pretty much everything Kat will never able to take away King's Karyu don which renders all of his attacks useless.

I think the only reason they're not using all their power is because it would be a waste of even more energy to do it while their flame is on
Zoro beat king last arc and is gets irritated waiting to find an opening when its off. Even explaining to the rest how useless it is to attack now

Then we just gotta wait for them to use it and damage them and we have our answer.
If they gotta use Adv CoC + Ifrit Jambe for that then the Lunarian hype is pretty insane.

Well, he was treated with disdain by Big Mom. I don‘t actually think that’s a knock against him though. Has Big Mom ever shown respect to anyone? In his arc he got broadly treated well, especially because of being a Luffy opponent.

However, he so far has the worst treatment of any of the Yonko right hand men in the broader One Piece world. Nobody at all seems to care about him other than in WCI. He has, quite significantly, the lowest bounty of the group. So low that not just other right hand men, but even their third highest bounties, are higher than his. Nobody outside the Big Mom Pirates have ever commented on him. Luffy‘s defeat of him was put together with the defeat of Cracker as only a part of what made him the “fifth emperor.” King is at least relevant as a Lunarian, Marco continues to be reasonably involved and I think came out of Onigashima looking pretty decent.

His record as “leader” with Big Mom absent is an utterly abject defeat.
Made a fool of by Caeser Clown, which ultimately meant the two man team of Ichiji and Reiju were able to break in, break Niji and Yonji out of prison and escape.
Meanwhile Kuzan and Auger have finished any chance of them ever being Pirate King, stealing Pudding, defeating Cracker and more than likely, getting the Road Poneglyph.

I think that’s even worse treatment than Marco got in his spell as leader. Marco at least got acknowledged by the Gorosei as a potential leader then got Blackbeard to stomp him individually. A loss to Kuzan would have been no shame, the CoO king getting bamboozled by Caeser? Far more embarrassing.

If Oda brings the Big Mom Pirates (or their remnants) back, he might do better, but as things stand he‘s not got any special Ace/Yamato treatment. He’s like the other right hand men- middle aged, overtaken by the younger generation. CoC is nothing special without ACoC to back it up.

Has Advanced haki which is something he doesnt

Also has elemental control from her zoan to stop his flames.

She has everything king has + better haki, advanced haki forms, better fruit and ACoC, king aint touching her lol.

Zoro had problem with king finding out his gimmick and learning to control ACoC.
