Here is more Info guys from another member named Turrin over on NF ( His theory)
With the reveals this chapter I think we can safely guess who IMU is, and the answer is Asmodeus, an ancient Demon who was from the Lesser Key of Solomon, who once stole Solomon’s Kingdom from him, until Solomon eventually reclaimed it by recovering his magic ring and sealing Asmodeus.

Now aside from Sabo describing the throne room as hell and Asmodeus steeling a throne similar to IMU.
Why do I say IMU is definitely inspired by Asmodeus. Well Asmeodeus is described as:
“Asmodeus with the breast of a man, a cock leg, serpent tail, three heads (one of a man spitting fire, one of a sheep, and one of a bull), riding a lion with dragon wings and neck”
Most of these iconography is very visible in the chapter:
Imu who is in the center looks the most Human, just like the center of Asmodeus does. Flames are also shown coming from his mouth with him swallowing them from Sabo:
IM also seems to have a dragon like tail:
The Gorosei also seem to fit Asmodeus’s animal like parts:
1) Saturn and Mustache Gorosei could easily be Bull and Sheep like Monsters
2) Bird Gorosei can easily be the Rooster aspect
3) The empty throne IMU sits on has Snake like Lions, and the final two Gorosei could also have these aspects or other aspects associated with Asmodues (I haven’t researched everything).

My idea on what is the origin of DFs hasn't changed much in a while: DFs didn't exist before Imu appeared.
Imu, an alien/god, granted to his followers (e.g. the Gorosei) DF-like powers in exchange for their loyalty when he reached Earth. The Ancient Kingdom thanks to its extraordinary technological capabilities managed to replicate the abilities of Imu and his demons (hence the name of the fruits) by creating the DFs we know and started fighting against the invaders.
So yes: Imu is the Devil
Imu, an alien/god, granted to his followers (e.g. the Gorosei) DF-like powers in exchange for their loyalty when he reached Earth. Just my thoughts after the chapter:
In this chapter we see what I thought first to be arrows hitting Cobra and Sabo:
But on second reading I thought to myself what if those are a tail? More specifically devil tails:
The tail here looks extremely similar to the ''arrows'' we saw in the chapter.
And then you have Sabo saying this:
'' I didnt know that Hell was located here, at the very top of the world'', right after the Gorosei and Imu's transformation. This added with the way Imu seemingly ate Sabo's fire me me pause.
The Gorosei could be devil like creatures and Imu would be the prime evil fruit.

Actually, Imu having the form of Asmodeus but being the original Sea Devil might indeed fit the OP narrative as a whole, but that would necessitate explaining how a devil came to the world in OP in the first place and thus opening up the possibility of the OP afterlife.
Unless Lolda wanna go there, I think the explanation that Imu has the progenitor DF is more plausible.

You may be right, the Gorosei at least seem to have Zoan DFs which are most likely mythical or in a special category of their own. As for the power level I don't think they are stronger than Admirals individually, maybe one like the bald Gorosei with the supposed Supreme Grade Kitetsu and with the awakening like silhouette (the bird one also looks like it has the cloud thing).
As for Imu himself, he probably also has a mythical one. The first shape (head) seems like a dragon or a beast with a similar head design and large teeth/fangs (crocodiles and alligators usually have a few teeth that are outside even when mouth is closed). It is also gigantic and the way it moves is somewhat like a crawler on fours. We have not been shown anything beyond the head and shoulders which is probably to hide the wings.
As for Imu himself, he probably also has a mythical one. Why do I say IMU is definitely inspired by Asmodeus. Well Asmeodeus is described as:
“Asmodeus with the breast of a man, a cock leg, serpent tail, three heads (one of a man spitting fire, one of a sheep, and one of a bull), riding a lion with dragon wings and neck”
Most of these iconography is very visible in the chapter:
Imu who is in the center looks the most Human, just like the center of Asmodeus does. Flames are also shown coming from his mouth with him swallowing them from Sabo:
IM also seems to have a dragon like tail:
The Gorosei also seem to fit Asmodeus’s animal like parts:
1) Saturn and Mustache Gorosei could easily be Bull and Sheep like Monsters
2) Bird Gorosei can easily be the Rooster aspect
3) The empty throne IMU sits on has Snake like Lions, and the final two Gorosei could also have these aspects or other aspects associated with Asmodues (I haven’t researched everything).

Also if we look at IMU’s eyes this chapter they get more rings when he gets mad an swallows Sabo’s fire exactly like the Jinn summoned in WCI arc:

And the lesser Key of Solomon’s symbols is now very clearly to me the symbol on the empty throne and WG insignia:

We also must remember that Alabasta is very Arabian nights symbolic, so the Demon King of Jinn being Lilly’s enemy would fit very well on that level. It also would give us an idea that One Piece could be ether Solomon’s Ring equivalent or the Seal to imprison Imu equivalent.
With the reveals this chapter I think we can safely guess who IMU is, and the answer is Asmodeus, an ancient Demon who was from the Lesser Key of Solomon, who once stole Solomon’s Kingdom from him, until Solomon eventually reclaimed it by recovering his magic ring and sealing Asmodeus.

Although Turrin seems to believe that the tails are more dragon like he still believes the theme of the devil is present here.

Look at the imagery. There are more mother goddess figures that have this image of the two lions surrounding her, but considering how hidden island figured out that Rome seems to be the society this storyline is built off of, I decided to go with the Roman version of this entity.
