The upcoming chapter is titled "Doomsday Army," and we see that the battlefield is strewn with wreckage and chaos as Lucius, believed to be defeated, suddenly reappears unharmed, wearing a sinister smile. Yuno stands bewildered, certain that what he has witnessed is no hallucination. The bewildered Yuno fails to comprehend the situation unfolding before him as buildings begin to crumble in Lucius's presence. With an air of confidence, Lucius proclaims, "Currently, I possess soul, body, blood, and bone magic, I can even create clones of myself."

Deep within his thoughts, Lucius revels in the flawless execution of his plan, even though his adversaries have surpassed his foresight. He is determined to establish the world without a flaw and descend as the Wizard Emperor. Suddenly, multiple versions of Lucius materialize around Yuno, commending him for becoming so strong.

As the NPC grow increasingly worried at the sight, Noelle refuses to surrender to despair and screams out that they haven't lost yet and there's still hope. Meanwhile, the scene shifts to the Black Bulls, where Vanessa engages in a conversation with the enigmatic Witch Queen. Vanessa explains their urgent need for assistance, requesting the Witch Queen to find whom they are looking for. To their surprise, the Witch Queen calmly responds, stating that she has already foreseen their arrival.

The Witch Queen reveals the whereabouts of Asta, affirming that he is alive but trapped in a foreign land. A wave of joy washes over the Black Bulls upon hearing the news. However, they soon realize that the distance between them and Asta is too great to summon him back. Sensing their distress, Dorothy assures them that she has a solution.

Dorothy proposes that their plan to defeat Lucius requires Asta's involvement since he possesses an unpredictable future that Lucius cannot foresee. She proclaims that by uniting their powers, the three most powerful witches of all time, including herself, Vanessa, and the Witch Queen, they can achieve anything. Understanding the dire state of the world, the Witch Queen resolves to aid them in their quest.

Drawing upon their collective strength, the Black Bulls activate a powerful compound magic known as "The Door of Destiny" with their Spatial Mage. Dorothy explains the magnificent capabilities of this magic, stating that it can enable them to meet the person they desire the most. And at the culmination of the chapter, Asta, the missing hero, finally returns to where he truly belongs.

We called it, and more than two months ago at that!

Both the possibility and explanation were right on the money. Looks like the goat himself gifted us a fraction of his future-seeing capabilities.

You basically also called what happened next too lol
Imagine the fake Lucius getting defeated at the end of one chapter by Yuno, only for the real one to teleport behind him Paladin Morgen style on Jack and basically wreck him in one hit the next week.

Looks like the goat himself gifted us a fraction of his future-seeing capabilities.

I think it would actually be fucking hilarious if out of Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, My Hero Academia, and Black Clover, Black Clover had the best ending.

So far Lucius is a really interesting, well done final boss. He's evil, but he makes sense and has a shit ton of charisma.

Glad to see Asta back.

Knew Mereoleona would be the one to fight Prinica.

Title: Transmission

Chapter starts with the King not knowing what's going on, nevertheless he just wants to be protected...

NPCs recognise Lucius as the Wizard King/Julius, and head of the enemy. They conjecture that Julius has been missing all along because he was the enemy... Buildings keep collapsing and people are losing hope.

Marx starts addressing the citizens via his magic. He has a small flashback to Julius telling him that information is the most powerful weapon and so his magic can be more helpful than anything else in certain situations.

Marx tells people that the enemy has taken over Julius's body. He talks about how immensely powerful this enemy is yet people keep risking their lives protecting the country. He shows them how Yuno has already defeated the Wizard King (i.e. enemy) once.

Mimosa addresses the citizens via Marx's magic too. She introduces herself as Royalty & member of the Golden Dawn and also introduces Yuno as someone who has a four leaf grimoire and how his aim is to become Wizard King etc...

Mimosa telling all the citizens, while thinking of Asta... "Please don't give up!!!"

Sekke declares to some citizens that they should run while he's fighting, though his bronze cannon gets destroyed by one of the legless angels in an instant. Sekke inner moment: "It's not that easy to become strong... but I tried to be strong, just like Asta...!!!"

Hino Country. Ryu is using his all-seeing eye to check what's going on, since they're puzzled why Asta hasn't been transported yet. "They were ready on the other side too... all that's left is... No... This guy...!!"

As the Black Bulls are trying to summon Asta, Damnatio appears. "Let judgement come to the evil disturbing peace and order." Chapter ends, no break next week.

Broader context of why the title is "Transmission" and why Lucius uses this very advanced vocab "sophistry" [i.e. accusing Marx of deceiving the citizens with his message]. Since people started thinking Julius was the enemy all along, Marx makes it sound like Lucius is this immensely strong, but random enemy who just took over Julius's body. Along with Mimosa's motivational speech, they try to do damage control for the lost morale of the citizens. If the citizens knew their own Wizard King was the leader of the enemy, things would be really bad. Of course, Lucius's accusation is not wrong. Marx is missing the part where Julius was effectively a Trojan horse all along. Hence, information being a powerful weapon to manipulate people.
