Evidence for being male:

And according to Doflamingo, the twenty founders of the World Government were all kings

Of course a king by default is male

Also, assuming Imu is the final villain, which is looking most likely, Oda would naturally have Luffy beat down a man rather than a woman.

Yep the official didn’t mention anything about them being male. Imu is probably androgynous or non-binary

Imu's choice of clothes clearly resemble a wedding dress when Imu is going up the stairs. Imu's long ass crown resembles Uta's by a lot and Sugar has one too, couple that with Imu's feminine physique and there you have it

If it male, likely a guy with feminine stuff which I doubt oda draw luffy beating man with feminine would be anti-gay, anti-transgender view in modern view. Only side character like zoro, sanji, sabo can beat up gays, transgenders , etc.

Beside oda doesn’t view gender strictly like we have Yamato gender drama, big mom want to be pirate king , not pirate queen, and same guy wrote Iva which it is pro transgender .

Second if all IMU say as in third person which last time we know as hina, I don’t remember men of one piece saying this.
