Speculations Mihawk of house Nerona

I have a theory that the Nerona family is the top family in One from which is Imu himself. I think that Mihawk is from this family and a former candidate of the Holy Knights but rebelled and decided to become a pirate to challenge strong swordsmen until he became the strongest.

I think that by the final war he will be forced by his family to return to Mariejoa and join the Knights of God as their commander in chief after Dragon/Shanks kill Garling or maybe Mihawk will kill Garling and replace him as the commander in chief, also I think he will face and defeat his Seraphim version before facing off against Zoro in the final war

On one hand it would be nice to get some lore from non SH related people, on the other one by doing this oda will fall into the shonen trope of every relevant character being related somehow in the end of the series.

I like the theory of him being immortal due to surgery or mythical zoan related to death more.

Have we ever seen mihawk swimming?

Uhm nope. Did you not read marineford? Mihawk doesn't do shit he doesn't want to do and doesn't fight battles he doesn't want to fight.

I don’t care about the how but he’s supposed to be Zoro’s final opponent. It would be anticlimactic if Zoro’s fight for WSS doesn’t happen during the war not right before or after it. Also it wouldn’t make sense for Zoro to have a “friendly” fight side-quest in the middle of the war, so Zoro’s end opponent has to be on the WG’s side during the final war

Mihawk is in cross guild+Luffy can only become pirate king with the WSS in his crew. Meaning that Zoro has to become WSS before the final war against the WG.

Again, if you need to see someone swimming to know they don’t have a DF and you can’t tell just from reading the fucking story, you really need somebody else holding your hand through every single chapter who can point out basic contextual inferences and patterns Oda has established over the decades :few:
