If a character has no flaws in narrative, then they class under mary sue.

So do you really want this poll to be all no's?
Nah, that's a manipulative take. That is not the way to look at the flaws of a character.

Zoro as an individual has some mostly subjective flaws, but that doesn't mean his character is flawed because of them. Contrary to that, if he was a Gary Stu, then as a character he would be heavily flawed because of it.

You could say that he's underdeveloped as a character, then again, it's very subjective and varies on how you views a character.

Other than that, I think he's very straightforward with his characterization.

Yes
Lack of character depth, no emotions, edgelord "king of hell" shit, gay for Luffy etc....

More like the opposite.
Oda's writing of Zoro's character has been steadily going downhill. All I'm going to say is Luffy Ryuma comparisons

Actually no.

Even his direction issues never lead him to danger or his friends.

He has less apparitions than others. When let's say ussop or nami bring quotes, explanation panels, Zoro is only fight. But sometimes he talks, but really a little.

He knows what he does and his job. Doesn't interfere with anyone, no cringy and retard stuffs.
Stays quiet and talks/behave when it's necessary.

And there was also a Zoro Ryuma comparisons from a strong samurai instead of random citizens.

Not arguing against that, though, because what you're bringing up are actual flaws of the character, nothing to do with her "gary stu" argument.

How Oda comparing Luffy with Ryuma means Zoro has flaws ? That's on oda who didn't deliver and the fanbase who expected something more.

Gay for Luffy ? That means loyalty to your best friend, that's what 99% guys do.

How calling even himself King of hell means he has flaws ?

Lack of character depth ? A dumb argument, you want him to cry or question himself everytime with what he should or shouldn't do ? So be boring and cliché af ? Yeah that's also a cliché to see a character who doesn't know what to do.
Or maybe you want him to scream, laugh, be angry for everything, that's character depth ? Lmao ... he is just serious person.

Zoro's character grew from "I will kill you if you do anything to my dream" to "my dream isn't worth if my captain and crew are dead", that's character development and Zoro won't change until the end.
That's all I'm gonna say, but of course if you hate a character, you won't understand anything.

He gets lost for gag and for plot points to happen but when he is really needed for his nakamas then he is present as always no matter what
