Keep believing Oda isn't doing it for the money, dude literally admitted making Chopper a mascot, added fanservice designs post time skip, literally put advertisement into his manga to promote a movie. Like yall can't be this dense. Elon Musk is the second richest man in the world and yet he still wants more money. Oda loves the money just like every rich person does.
I think you're confusing him simply wanting more money with him actively seeking and desiring more money.

Anyway, Naruto doesn't have good swordfights, which is a shame because I loved Zabuza and I was invested in Suigetsu's brother. Asuma and Sasuke also failed to impress in swordplay. One Piece's Wano as a country is less of a disaster than Naruto's Land of the Samurai. Only a single character from there is "strong" and he was less impressive than the Scabbards.

Lots of people here have a lack of reading comprehension. There is a difference between making money off your manga vs writing your story to cater to marketing instead of actual story telling. Learn the difference guys.
