Once again…conservative panic is pointed in the wrong direction, as per usual
This just means there is another person on the chopping block. Sick fuck.
But this also does not excuse the drag queens who are paedophiles. (I'm saying this because of the tweet's wording).

Maybe we should be concerned about -both- rather than just saying: "See, it's Christian Pastors, not Drag Queens!"

No, it’s time to go after BOTH sides if you wanna play that card. Always makes me laugh when people say shit like “Clinton was also on Epstein’s island” and I respond that he should be strung up right alongside Donnie; if you actually gave a shit about protecting kids from predators of all political affiliations, you’d wanna keep the heat on pastors and other molesters while *also* going after any trans people who do that kind of evil. Somehow, though, I rarely hear right wingers condemning their own when it pops up :kayneshrug:

It's almost always an excuse when it comes to the right, either that or they try and ignore it. Completely baffling.
They make excuses for a reason, their main stream guys are con artists meant to represent another alternative that isn’t conducive to reality. That’s why you see them opposing welfare and the likes.
The difference between a straight murderer and a gay murderer is immaterial; I’m not gonna give the latter a pass if they take a life, but I’m also not gonna abide anyone who wants to act like the former is less evil for doing the same thing. The reason people fight for their rights, though, is because LGBTQIA+ people are just regular fucking people like everyone else, you can’t deny their existence based on a few bad actors while ignoring the millions of (typically) straight men who commit equally or much more violent crimes. Be consistent, sure, but recognize you’re trying to portray an entire population as inherently more malevolent than another.
Who’s denying them? They already have their rights. The issue arises when innocent children are targeted without parental consent in places they thought their children were well looked after irregardless of who’s doing it. It just so happens that the issue now is with this, look at the protests going on in Glendale and Maryland, you don’t think there is a need to focus on protecting children from something more imminently close just as much as focusing on protecting from other dangers which most parents are already doing? All I’m saying is that there needs to be consistency and jumping in with the whatabout-ism to Tejas was off base. Anyway I ain’t the one portraying one as better or worse, the media is already doing that in full swing by blasting pride all over while Christians or the right probably get the opposite or less so look for the portrayal elsewhere I ain’t the one doing it lmao.

When I was in middle school, my choir teacher was charged for doing something with a student, and he killed himself before he could go to court

And its still so fucked up to this day, because the student reaction was very divided but mostly leaned in support of him. Someone took the tape of his suicide call(he called 911 and told them they would find his body in his garage) and spliced it to How To Save A Life and uploaded it to YouTube. They cyberbullied the shit out of the victim for the rest of the year. Several hundred students wore black on the same day for what they called "We Miss You, Mr ___ Day". Made me disgusted by a lot of my peers. And he was one of my favorite teachers, too, but that just made me hate him for doing such a terrible thing all the more

Anyway that's my personal school predator analogy, thanks for listening

Also this whole left vs right nonsense is a circus for this very reason right here. They’re literally cheering like it’s sports, conservatives being in panic mode after someone from their side did the same thing is what is inherently wrong with this whole divide. Actual rights and issues aren’t being focused on at all, anyone who is a diehard follower on any side of of the spectrum is lost in the sauce, simply put.

I get why you think that this
Only one side has a trojan horse hidden in the name of human rights and is being blasted in all forms of media, and being pushed in school which is imminently more threatening to the safety and well being of children.
isn’t just a long way of saying you think LGBTQIA+ people are fundamentally more inclined to do or get away with something bad, a sentiment that is thoroughly anti-gay, but that doesn’t make it less offensive or indicative of your feelings.

Anyway, Haoshoku, we’ve reached the point we normally do where I’m done pretending like I respect your opinion, go ahead and quote someone else if you wanna keep acting like you’re above it all.

Oh, and this didn't happen until several years after I graduated, but one of my high school teachers also got arrested for a similar situation, and she didn't even go to jail. Just had her teachers license suspended and put on the sex offender registry

And this isnt, like, inner city schooling, this is one of the top rated school systems in the country. I feel like they should dock points for this kind of thing, personally

Not at all, no need to put words in my place. I’m not talking from the legal perspective, rather I’m talking about how it is covered and perceived in the media and the likes.

Alright sure, it was very respectful of you to keep your cool in sensitive issues like this, let us carry on.

Thats terrible. That sentence is crazy lenient, too.

I feel like the article focuses a little too much on her being a drag queen mentor and not enough on her being a fucking elementary school teacher, though
That's usually what happens. When a right wingers commits a crime of this nature, it's treated as a separate individual thing. When a leftist commits a crime of this nature, it's usually treated as a collective issue as if these actions are just in the nature of leftist/LGBTQ in general.

Btw if anyone is offended by my comments, the ignore button is right there. Although this is a sensititive thread this still is an anime forum so I don’t intend to ruin people’s enjoyment of their free time with some political disagreement even if it is expected with a thread like this. I realize some disagreements or views could be seen as too triggering or senstitive, I got no problem getting rid of the posts if it makes anyone feel better, the last thing I want to do is make someone feel uncomfortable on an anime forum of all places that would just blow in all honesty.

Pedos will be anywhere where there are vulnerable kids:schools, churchs, orphanages, kindergatens and so on...
