It's a youtubeur take making sense from what we got so far.
Kusakabe and Choso's words arn't here for nothing:
Kusakabe: "Shrinking a domain to the point its mass is inferior to the user should be lethal" (something like that, let's wait for TCB)
Choso: "But Gojo may have understood something in the prison realm" (same note).
YT hypothesis: Gojo tried to trick Sukuna by forcing him to shrink his domain to the lethal point (but eventually failed).
It's pure fanfic, but it fits the spoilers and could explain Sukuna's wounds and domain collapse.

I think it's to do with Gojo's Six Eyes seeing Mahoraga's wheel spinning imo, that's the scenery before the Nosebleed panel i think.
Odds are pretty high that Sukuna has been using Mahoraga's ability all along.
But imagine thinking the Cursed Technique imbued into Malevolent Shrine isn't Shrine....

I think it's to do with Gojo's Six Eyes seeing Mahoraga's wheel spinning imo, that's the scenery before the Nosebleed panel i think.
Odds are pretty high that Sukuna has been using Mahoraga's ability all along.
It's during Gojo's second DE attempt, that Sukuna purposely deactivated his sure hit effect inside Gojo's domain, with Gojo according to this latest translation wondering why Sukuna took such a risk instead of trying to destroy his domain from the inside since he can only switch interior/exterior conditions.
So imo after the first domain clash, with Gojo recovering his CT through RCT, Sukuna probably wanted to take that opportunity to use Mahoraga's wheel to start adapting to Gojo's CT, but since he knew that with Gojo's knowledge of Mahoraga, if he saw it, he'd try to destroy it before it could adapt, he hid the wheel and made the adaptation happen in the shadow, even if he had to take unnecessary risk since as Gojo said, he could have tried to destroy his DE from the inside avoiding such a risky strategy
But imagine thinking the Cursed Technique imbued into Malevolent Shrine isn't Shrine....
