My point is you can't use clashes or even being on the same panel as a way to scale power. You have no evidence to show Coby battled Shiryu from what we know Coby was used as a way to distract Garp who was clapping the BB pirates.
This bottom left hand panel is more impressive than anything Coby did on Amazon Lily. While Coby was save from BB getting hit by Perfume Femur Smoker matched it in strength.
I never denied Smoker didn't get clapped this is where your lack of reading comprehension and bias is kicking in. I said Coby in the same situation wouldn't do any better.
He got props for helping him at the Rocky Port incident which we still no nothing about. Could have been saving random civilians etc. None of the Sword stuff you mentioned is relevant considering Drake is part of Sword and is Coby's commander. BB pirates also are known for the dodging capabilities.

Coby isn't even VA level.
He's a young and promising member of sword, who has Garp's blessing, that's it.
Of course he'll become an admiral in the end, but that's several years into the future (epilogue).
