And that exactly what I do not understand in the community. Most of us have read 1087 chapters and debate powerscalling for years, and at the end of the day we all saw that Oda make characters to be as strong as he wants them to be. Rather than to be as strong as he show them to be.
He has no consideration for past feats. You yourself have suffer from this with Kidd’s feats (i.e what he showed against big mom and against shanks).
But for some reasons you guys are still clinging to feats. If Oda wants Shiliew to be stronger than Aokiji. No matter the numbers of good feats he gave Kuzan, no matter the numbers of anti feats he gave to Shiliew, Shiliew will still be stronger than Kuzan. Because Oda does not care about this kind of consistency.
The argument about Oda not wanting to spoil Aokiji make zero sense because Oda had no obligation to do that cover at that moment, he could have wait.
So I ask again, with Oda way of writting why stick to fandom powerscaling when we have a clear cut information from Oda?

Oda’s intent is evident in the writing. You cannot separate the two.

Literally nothing in the manga suggests Shiryu is above Kuzan. Even Garp didn’t respect his strength.

No, what I’m saying is that Kidd’s durability and endurance feats should not have allow Shanks to one shot him. Because Kidd has shown to be able to whistand several hits from Big Mom. But as I said Oda does not care about previous feats.
Which is why Shanks seems to be far stronger than Big mom even tho they are supposed to be on the same level.
So we going back to feat? Even after reminding you of Oda’s track record? So it is an unwillingness to learn from past mistakes.

Unfortunately unlike shanks fans, if someone uses a sword everytime for everything and even has a name for it, that guy is a swordsman so we can't deny a obvious fight. That's Oda's golden rules.

If BM was 2v1ed by Kid, but Shanks negged him, then that means Shanks is significantly above BM(something Kaido even validates).
