They don’t need it but I’m still kinda disappointed Kuzan at least doesn’t have it. With him not having it it makes it less likely that any of the logia trio have advanced or rare haki. Sakazuki likely doesn’t have penetration armaments either
That doesn’t at all mean that they have weak haki or anything tho. They’re haki is obviously extremely strong they just don’t have advanced applications of them
They still more than make up for their lack of advanced haki with their other skills and abilities. Them being trained in all main forms of combat like martial art, swordsmanship, and marksmanship. like kid law but better for now…
On top of that they hopefully are also rokushiki masters with them at the very least knowing it. And the most obvious ability they have over others is their extremely powerful devil fruits. Not only them being the strongest class of devil fruit aka logia but some of the strongest fruits in that class. With logia awakening it should more than enough make up for what they don’t have.
Advanced haki isn’t the only thing that counters advanced haki. Blackbeard and shanks being the perfect example of 1 character focused on advancing and mastering his haki and the other getting stronger by other sources of power like devil fruits yet them still being comparable. Also it isn’t like shanks’s basic haki is way stronger. Him making up for that with his advanced haki and Blackbeard the opposite. Same with zoro and law
Also as for the secondary color trio (fujitora, ryokugyu, and orange admiral…
)
