But the reason Coby and Garp got separated was because of Pizarro. If Pizarro didn’t transform, Coby Helmeppo and Grus could’ve stayed to help Garp.

Literally Garp couldn't one shot Pizarro, Wolf, or Shiryu despite landing clean hits on them. Kuzan by comparison one shot both Pizarro and Wolf with ease. Garp also got brutally stabbed by Shiryu while Kuzan ignored a stab from Whitebeard and Kizaru received a papercut from Rayleigh.

No matter how you slice it, Garp is just objectively pathetic compared to an Admiral. Hell Ryokugyu took an AdCoC blow from Yamato to the face with no injury. Lol

And Aramaki took an ACoC strike from Yamato with only sweat and a headache

Sure. In Garp's prime he might be able to neg diff commanders like Admirals can, in fact it's safe to assume Garp was Admiral level in his prime and that he would've actually defeated these commanders if he was.

But the fact of the matter is that Garp is old as shit and not Admiral level anymore, hence his disgraceful (relative to Admirals) performance against Yonko commanders.

Admirals have hax to help them though.Garp is the only admiral tier character without a devil fruit.None of the admirals have haki feats likes Garp yet.At least this incident proves Kaido's AP>Garp AP,since he koed Luffy with his club multiple times.

He used his DF, yeah, but he never used his Awakening.
It's pretty clear he and Sakazuki have awakening, but seeing as he only tried to freeze Garp with his basic techniques and never tried to transform the environment, it's seems clear that he used everything but his Awakening.

My theory is that Teach will try to give Garp back to the Marines in exchange for making Hachinosu his kingdom, but Aokiji will betray him and arrange a set-up, Teach will go to a the negotiated location to drop Garp off and Aokiji will be waiting for him along with high level Marine back up or possibly even Shanks.

There's literally another panel where Shiryu is introduced standing next to Devon. And another one where he's introduced standing next to Pizzaro.

And you can say both Shiryu and Pizaro have the powers of 2 former Zoro&Sanji opponents. And Pizzaro wants fame and to make a name for himself which is consistent with how Sanji acts with respect to bounties. These are surface level comparisons really.

That level of AoE is an Admirals forte. That Kuzan couldn't make use of those abilities just makes Garp all the worse. He was literally defeated by a move that pre ts was swatted away by Sanji.

I'm sure ANY of them would be an entertaining matchup for Sanji. I'm very, VERY positive about Sanji's future since Wano and whole Wings narrative.

Lafitte and Shiryu are the only BB Pirates who weren’t introduced in a group either. Lafitte is also the only BB Pirate who was able to dodge Ace’s attacks pre timeskip.
