Unlike Ace who fell for Akainu taunts Koby didn't waste Garps sacrifice i see small parallels to Marineford. Garp succeed his main mission here where as goatbeard failed although he was up against much stronger forces

I really hated that moment from Ace, it made all the efforts everyone went through to save Ace go to waste.

Old healthy Garp is definitely solid Top Tier and the strongest old legend because as brand-new said, he is still training daily.

I was thinking, it's pretty likely that Pizarro's fruit was Wang Zhi's fruit.

That means, during the God Valley fight, Wang Zhi was probably getting constantly hit by monsters like Roger, Whitebeard, Rocks, Garp, Ray, Shiki, BM, etc.....

Pretty crazy when you think.

Why would Shiki, BM and WB attack Whang Zi? And also why do you think they all attacked Whang Zi?

This isn't about his power but his skill as a warrior. He had more than enough time to permanently put down at least Shiryu and Vasco who were in his range, as well as Pizarro who was struck with Garp's all out attack.

That people now use these fighters to save face for his loss are really on Garp and Garp only imo.

But what does that say about Kuzan who has demonstrated his skill to fight on par with Old Garp with aCoC restricted? Sounds to me that we are back to square 1 where Kuzan needs to be DF reliant to take character of Commander level fighters.

I remember when that chapter came out, Sanjikun was saying that OKG is just an upgraded KG and that KKG is stronger.
