vs Kuzan the trail only happened during the impact. Even then, Kuzan is clearly not your average Commander level fighter. His clearly Admiral level.

Not gonna lie, the chance of Smoker joining the Strawhats boosted up this chapter.

Coby, Helm, and Grus will be future Admirals, Smoker could be a very strong Vice Admiral that is basically a rouge that doesn't bound by duties and follow his justice as needed.
