On a scale from 1 to 100 (1 being "I'm sure there is not problem" and 100 being "I'm sure there is a problem)..

How sure are you that "woke people" or that "wokeness" is a problem ?

Now I want to have a complete conversation with you to try to examine that belief and if possible, challenge it. This will be a very hard exercice for me so excuse me in advance if I forgot someone or something. You have the possibility of ignoring me of course, but for the sake of the health of this thread, I think we would all benefit from this conversation.

I will try to have a conversation, meaning that it goes both way, I will ask you some question but you are also allowed to try to change my perspective.

Bringing unneeded extra attention to topics like race, gender, sexual orientation ect. And not even being genuine about it, look at pretty much every corporation during Pride Month. They don't actually give a damn about the LGTBQ crowd, they lie to people calling themselves allies, but it's not about sincerity, it's about brownie points.

Point is you don't need to make a huge deal about your race or who you sleep with. It doesn't make you special. Look at @Adam 🍎 for example, he's bi and he's not in your face about it. I wonder why 🤔

They're not supporting the LGTBQ for the right reason, it's all cooperate greed.

Nothing. Because there's no need to make a big deal about it. Unless you live in the middle east, being gay is legal. Now you do you in peace instead of being loud about it.

And outside of the US, racial tensions are not that big.

I'm not speaking about now, i'm speaking in hypothetical. What would it need for you in our current occidental world for LGBTQ+ to be lgitimately loud about their situations ?

Current LGBTQ is corporate product rather than a proper movement

I dont need bud light ads, rainbow bands and god knows what. Dont need thousands of gay people going full victim mentality

What LGBT needs is a movement focused on progress rather that tv commercials and twitter fights

Modern Wokeness is just like modern feminism. Feminism used to be about fighting against social and systematic gender inequality oppressing women. Nowadays it hot hijacked by idiots and is about gender superiority, hating on men and removing accountability.

Being Woke used to be about fighting against social and systematic injustices against minorities and other groups that don't fit conformity standards. Nowadays it got hijacked by idiots and is about forcing your personal preferences on others and silencing those who speak out against it.

They don't live up to the definition of the word. They simply hide behind its ideals for their own convenience.
