Mihawk’s name not even being mentioned in the land of the swordsman was truly an extreme L. There are no swordsman there who could’ve challenged him but it just made him look like a fraud, desperately seeking strong swordsman opponents but then not visiting the legendary swordsman country. Lol
Dude they didn't even know who Aramaki was or that Admirals really existed, they have 0 clue what the world outside Wano is like, why the fuck would they know about Mihawk??

Busy fearing the guy he doesn't want to fight and specifically said he doesn't want to fight because he lives in peace now that he achieved his life-long goals?
Fucking idiot.
It was a dumb choice and I think Oda shouldn't have put Ryo in a situation in which he could not have done anything relevant lol.
For how it happened, I think Oda wanted to construct a kind of BM-like character with a gag side.
But yes, even the thought of going to Wano was idiotic unless he arrived like the day after the end of the battle with Kaido and BM.
BM has gags but even she knows there's a limit to power/strength she can't do by just herself and her crew, which is why she wanted the giants and enter into alliance with Kaido for chance of becoming PK.
GB by himself wanted capture the alliance that defeated Kaido+BM. No marines back up, no seastones, nothing. Just a 1 man army
Would be more idiotic if he arrived that day and not kill the alliance when they were at their weakest and recovering from injuries. He made a move a week later when everyone is almost healed and together
