I think he maybe meant that by the time the BMP will clim the waterfall the war will be already over and a new era will begin, the era of the Yonko. Or that when they will climb the guys leading the wars will be the SN and they will have the power now.
That Marco entrance was dope.
We have now a named attack : Phoenix Mark !
I really hope to see Vista here, in a sword man and samurai arc it is a shame if he is not here. And I really want to see more about his flower sword skills.
For Jozu I don't know. For now I don't think he will be here.
And if Marco is here it means that he got the new about Weevil and followed Neko.

Marco's DF is in my top 4 DF i would like to eat along With Pika Pika No Mi, Gura Gura and Daibutsu
What do you think Marco will do during the war ? What will be his role ? And who do you think he will fight ? And what will happen with Weevil ? Will he come to Wano instead ?

like the other i do think he will have a clash with King but i dont think it will be a true 1v1.
1. as we know after Marco's performance in MF, facing King wont add any tension as many(One Piece fans in general not forum nutcases) expect him to win anyway
2. His DF is haxed enough for me to say King likey cant beat Marco(i place Marco above every Yonko's strongest subordinate barred Backman)
3. There is no char development or strength development for him from these 1v1 fights.
4. he is too strong to face most calamities and below in 1v1 and too weak to take out Yonko alone.
5. so i think he will be one of the key player in the yonko fight(preferably in Kaido fight)
6. MF mainly focused on skirmishes so we dont know much about most of the participant over there. hell we dont even know if he has awakening or not.
7. so i think when helping Luffy and others in kaido fight we will see lots of useful abilities from him. he might be able to heal others mid battle too even if the heal is minor. he can jump in and tank deadly attack so that other key fighters doesnt suffer grave injury or dont die.
8. right now i think he is the 2nd strongest ally we have. its stupid to think such a big player will deal with yonko subordinate when Yonko themselves will be our big concern
9. also in this lates chapter Marco did say he came to help after hearing Yonko alliance. so narratively it doesnt make sense to have this guy not help in yonko fight.
AND I will say it here Marco's Wano performance will trash on Katakuri/Kings performance
. Only Ben and EOS BB's strongest subordinate will one up him

I can see him facing Kaido with the others : we have two Yonkos but we have Luffy, Kid, and Law that I think will face Yonko. With Marco it makes it 4 people, is this enough? I don't know.
But I think too that BM won't really fight for long and that the BM/Kaido alliance will crumble at one moment.
I think Weevil will come to Wano and this is a possible fight for Marco. But if he doesn't fight Weevil he will fight a Yonko in team.
Haha don't worry Marco will show why he was the right hand of WB and why he shines more than the others right hands.
yeah if Oda wants to focus on this char development moment then i am fine with this 1v1 too.
about that, i dont think the fights will go uninterrupted. fighters will keep changing in both side. and many will either join or tap out of the fight. as its against a yonko and our side have low firepower, its gonna take long time to take Kaido out. so outside of Luffy, Kid, Law i see Zoro joining for some time, Marco coming in late and save someone in clutch moment(i think luffy) doing a badass double spread entry.
i think someone from scabbard will get angry seeing Kaido and jump in to attack him and gets taken out by kaido. i believe it will be shutenmaru.
i dunno how ppl think other YC1 can be stronger than Marco. Kata was playing Invincible brother with his siblings. Vs Luffy was the hardest fight he had in his own admission. and How often does king go outside of Wano? who does he fight with?
on the other hand Marco was key player in the biggest so far. then went on another war with a dude thats likey to become the final villian. not to mention seeing how marco is overly dependent(unfortunately) on his DF, Teach is his absolute counter.
Yami grab-Quake Punch. GG Marco. hell i am surprised he managed to return from this battle. afterall even if Teach doesnt want marco's df(he seems to be only after THE Strongest DF of every kind) his crew could definitely use this df. its still one of the strongest DF out there.

Either some crew mates sacrificed themselves to save him, either he was not stomped personally and he managed to run away with the remaining of his army.
Portrayal wise only Ben and BB best fighter will best Marco. Marco has a lot of hype and feats and portrayal. The guy will fight his 3rd war in a row. In almost every big moment in the story Marco was in it : MF, Grudge war and now Wano. In term of relevance Marco is a really important character. And I think King will only be a one time villain.
You don't think Weevil will come ? And fight with Marco ?
is it weird that i think Jozu/Vista sacrificed so that others can escape(i feel like it would be Jozu). just a weird gut feeling.
