I predict casual fans and newcomers will ironically enjoy the Live Action WAY more than hardcore fans like us.
Actual Manga readers are going to be picking it apart and wondering what the manga release schedule would look like if it didn't exist.
I'd honestly prefer if the Live Action didn't exist on some levels, but, this is Oda's best chance to get a worldwide live actions series going; right before the final saga.
It's just hard to take the "want to focus on finish the story" talk serious when there's this many side projects in the background.
Wish Oda would just take 5 years to focus on the fucking manga alone, but he's too much of a control freak (and in the Netlfix case this makes sense, look what they're anime adaptations look like when they're left to their own devices.

We see Kizaru getting fked in ass by Saturn who is calling him corporate slave.
Kizaru is only wearing black tie and praising daddy gorsei while suffering pain.
VA's and fodder marines are looking through window and laughing, while terrified they have to do same job in future.
We see kizaru not able to sit when he comes out of Saturn's room.
VA Doll taunts kizaru by asking if he can fight SHP

It's not the Live Action's existence that bothers me, it's that it's coming right after Oda said he wanted to pick up the pace.
You cannot manage your manga's pace properly if you have to babysit Netflix while they adapt your anime, it just doesn't make sense.
I want the Live Action to be good at this point, but, the timing of it is frustrating. At the least, Oda needs to pick between being involved in the anime movies and being involved in the Live Action. Doing both at his age and with his sleep schedule is fucking irresponsible and his editors/bosses need to get their shit together and adjust his workload so it makes fucking sense.
