This Netflix LA better be good if it's making Oda take this much breaks
I predict casual fans and newcomers will ironically enjoy the Live Action WAY more than hardcore fans like us.
Actual Manga readers are going to be picking it apart and wondering what the manga release schedule would look like if it didn't exist.
I'd honestly prefer if the Live Action didn't exist on some levels, but, this is Oda's best chance to get a worldwide live actions series going; right before the final saga.
It's just hard to take the "want to focus on finish the story" talk serious when there's this many side projects in the background.
Wish Oda would just take 5 years to focus on the fucking manga alone, but he's too much of a control freak (and in the Netlfix case this makes sense, look what they're anime adaptations look like when they're left to their own devices.
