So let's assume there is highly advanced civilization that has developed advanced ship and fuel


So, if they travel from their planet (assume this planet is at the one of the edge of Milky Way) at constant acceleration then they cover whole of milkway in just 12-14 years whereas nearly hundreds of thousands years will pass by on their home planet

I don’t know if that’s how it will happen, because assuming we can go FTL, we’ll basically be making “shortcuts” in space. Mean we won’t be traveling in a straight line. Either we’ll bend space to move faster or we’ll create wormholes
