The animation quality is great. Could the direction of the episode of been better? Could a few scenes be shortened or even cut? Perhaps, but the hard work of the animators makes it worth it in the end. You can see the sincere effort and care that went into these episodes, and I’m sure it will be noticeable in the upcoming ones aswell.

If I can see that, then I have very little reason to complain.

sanji and zoro episodes included so many good creative works.

Bruh if you're gonna do a final battle then dedicate the entire episode to it the right way. This was half-assed. The G5 transformation itself was incredible, the music and the drums were on point, but you could barely see the toon attacks. There was way too much going on and everything just looked like a mess. You couldn't even see Luffy's entire face or body in an of the action shots. They went way overboard.

Then forcing Hiyori in there for almost half the episode ruined the pacing completely. They literally re-used the same scene like 5 times. It would have been better to just make this a filler episode and waited for next week for the full G5 reveal if they wanted to stretch things out. And why are we getting flashbacks of shit that happened literally like last episode?

I was expecting an epic Doflamingo vs G4 type fight where the entire episode is dedicated to them.

It's terrible for anyone who already watches Ep 1015 and sets high standards and expectations.

There is no hype in this episode, and the animation is unpolished.

There is no respect for origin.

You are completely misremembering that episode. The first half of 726 was nearly entirely dedicated to bird cage shit. It was only the end of the first half when Luffy pulls out gear 4th and hits Doffy with Kong Gun.

As someone who didn't have high expectations, I think the chapter was amazing.

BUT

There was a limit to how many times you can expand a scene, at the beginning seeing Luffy jump when he was alone in the rooftop was fun but that was just the beginning, seeing him jump again and again for 5 minutes(I'm pretty sure i'm exaggerating but to me it was that long) it was too much. And a few other things but besides that and the flashback, it was a very good chapter

Horrendous episode, what the hell was that, they used 5 times the same visual for the gear 5 at the start, the zooms on every moves were horrible i was about to puck, a 4th of the episode was filled with flashbacks of the previous episode, man this was a disaster

I had high expectations for G5 animation, can't believe with so much money and best producers this all they could manage. Dozen years old Looney tunes animation was far better than this.

This could've been really amazing episode, but I'm sure the shitty fans will praise OP the same and digest anything the author or anime throws at them.

Transformation was PEAK and so is drum beat. Rest is meh. So when you cant rate for what it deserves, you can't ask people to be legit when they vote 5 for every shit. And 0 and 1 ratings are just out of spite.

It was good.. But not peak..when people have expectations and it has not been met..... We can say whatever it is.. Was not peak. . Like this episode is not even memorable... As majority was meh
