General & Others Luffy vs Big Mom in Elbaf

For better or for worse luffy and big mom might fight in Elbaf. As for why? Pretty much all the same reasons that have been said for years

1. Luffy multiple times said and promised after kaido he’ll beat her next
2. All big moms connections to elbaf
3. Big mom most likely isn’t at all dead

And as for what reason in story they’ll fight idk. Big mom has a different personality every time we see her so she might not even be “evil” anymore. There’s definitely gonna be some redemption for her anyway

It could be that luffy has to beat her as enemy, “friend”, or out of control monster

Lmfao we are well past the point where Luffy needs to take on BM. BM has nothing to offer to Luffy, absolutely nada. If she comes back as a combatant against Luffy it's only to get embarrassed, and it's better Oda lets her rest with the little legacy she has remaining.

Nah, Oda delegated this fight towards Law and Kidd, I don't want to see her around for the third time.

Luffy doesn’t “need” to fight her but if she returns they at least clashing or something

Based on how dirty oda done her since the tea party I don’t even know if I want her to return tbh but she most likely will. On the bright side he probably can’t do her that much worse

She probably hit her head again after flying out the volcano and is in old lady mode or something. Oda is definitely turning her good tho and is probably gonna nerf her even more

All I can hope for is a fun little fight between her soul powers and gear 5 before it gets bad again

Personally, the only way I see those 2 coming back is if somehow Elbaf is heavily dipped in Rocks lore. So less about Luffy having his big fight with her, but more about how she can elevate that plotline (which imonis very little).

Idk, i wouldnt mind her and her crew being full resolved there, they got pretty shafted in Wano, but I know how many people hate her lmao

I would love for oda to actually flesh out big mom and her history as a pirate pre, during, and post rocks
If oda doesn’t keep shafting her and most the big mom pirates it would be amazing but I don’t want to get my hopes too high
