In the first chapter Shanks was made to look like a hobo, so make much more sense for the character to use cloths that look like real ones that are being used by guys that spend months at the sea without proper hygene than to everything look like its brand new cosplay.

However, they are not 100% faithful to the manga and story...There are many changes, but I am talking about the quality of the clothes
Shanks at the beginning of the story is very similar to Jack Sparrow and even this similarity is attractive to many...And this dress is much more attractive than Shanks' dress

i have netflix and will watch in it, but if someone dont have it and want to watch in a free way whats the problem? Or the people in the forum have become moralists out of nonwhere and are going to stop read the chapter in the friday too?

Isnt like the people who watch in other ways would sign netflix anyway, even they know it.
