I’d say Oda doesn’t always care that much about the boost « transformations » give. It feels pretty random sometimes
Like when we had Base Luffy with use of G2/G3
matching drunk Kaido so I thought G4 would fold him since it supposedly a huge boost (based on Dresseosa and WCI) but nah.

So yeah Oda may have Zoro struggling against base Lucci just to show him beat his awakened version a few chapters later

Base Luffy is like base Kaido anyway. Base Kaido is still insanely strong with the haki.

Nah. There is a big difference. The leakers are almost always anti admirals. Where as with zoro, they're mostly zoro fans. So unless the leak came from like a die hard sanjino fan or something, it's true more likely than not.

- most of the chapter is about Kizaru and Sentomaru
- we get a small flashback how they met and some other small panels
- Kizaru defeats Sentomaru and goes up and meets Luffy's group
- Lucci gets orders from Saturn to kill Vegapunk
- he attacks Vegapunk while everyone is present
- only Zoro was fast enough to block his attack
