Omg after 980+ chapters, i just realize if Jinbe had scar in his eye.

And the fact that Jinbe is the only whale - shark fishman back in the Fishman Island, and i dont think he is the only whale-shark fishman in the One Piece. So with Sasaki - Jinbe had a history would bring good point to the story.

With today spoiler images, can someone edit this picture with Who'who carrying the other f6 (Sasaki,X-Drake,Maria,Ulti, and P1).

I have a general theory that just off design alone, both Jinbe/Sasaki went to the same Dojo when they were younger and Sasaki does fight like Jinbe but with the advantage of having a Zoan. The disadvantage would be Jinbe being able to truly manipulate water while Sasaki has to stay on land.

The both look similar, wear similar clothing, etc. Sasaki, like Jack, are definitely fishmen, but I think Sasaki is Jinbe's actual fight and it will give us a small/tragic flashback for Jinbe

Jack is a confirmed fishman... All of that easily applies to Jack, and it fits the Zoro v. King, Sanji v. Queen, Jinbe v. Jack trio theme.

Yes, lets just wait when Sasaki vs Jinbe is happening, it will be spectacular if isn't offscreened and we might get the flashback of them both.

Don't worry about offscreening at this point. The main fights definitely won't be offscreened. If Oda didn't offscreen the fights earlier this arc,we'd still be in Oden's flashback.

He only offscreens when he deems it necessary to show off someone's powers yet. This is why we didn't get Marco/Blackbeard, Sabo/Fuji or Sabo/Ryokugyu or Aokiji/Akainu. These people will be fighting soon and have surprises. The first being Marco now.

But yeah I truly think Sasaki/Jinbe is a thing and has the opportunity to be way more compelling that Jack/Jinbe (who SHOULD be Neko/Inu's fight for all intents and purposes).

So with Sasaki might be the same "whale-shark fishman" like Jinbe and they "might" have history when they were younger, that fight will be interesting.

Nope, I disagree with the "trio" theme people are making up. I don't think Queen and Jack are Sanji and Jinbe's fights respectively. There are other people who have more personal vendettas against these YCs.

Zoro vs. King actually has credibility because they are both swordsman and Zoro has wanted to cut literal fire since punk hazard. Sanji vs. Queen has zero setup and Jack is also a swordsman. In fact Queen fights way more forceful and violent like Kid, someone who actually has a vendetta against Queen.

I'm sorry, but I don't think Sanji will overshadow Kid or several other supernova Captains. He will have his moment, but Kid/Law will have bigger moments. Law overshadowed Zoro in PH/Dressrosa in the end. Kyros fought and beat Diamante, not Robin/Franky. This is similar to Inu/Neko taking on Jack. It's nothing personal towards the Strawhats, it's just a clear vision Oda has with non-strawhats and where they sit in the story.

To me, Kaido owes BM possibly in one of two ways (both are still total guesses don't mind me)

- She saved him and the Numbers from Punk Hazard as children. All of the Numbers are his family. She let him keep them all instead of forcing them on her crew.

- They had a child (Yamato) years ago and BM let Kaido keep the child for x reason.

The first is more likely in my opinion, but both could be entirely wrong.

What's curious is once we see Yamato, people are going to be asking about who the mother is. And I think with this is gonna be pretty important. I've had a few theories on that:

- BM/Kaido obviously
- Kaido/Black Maria, but then Black Maria wouldn't have called him "Bocchan" if he was her son Id say. Who knows
- Kaido/Toki, dark as fuck but maybe Toki lived and they had Yamato lol.
- Kaido/Shimotsuki Clan Mother, this one is my favorite, because Zoro may be related to the Shimotsuki clan in some way, yet I've been wondering how they'd address it. I was making a fun theory how Kaido killed the Shimotsuki clan, took Zoro's mother, and has Yamato (making it that much more personal)

Or, more likely, Kaido owes Big Mom because she’s probably the only reason he isn’t a bloodstain at the bottom of the ocean after killing one of Whitebeard’s crew. I think it’s far more likely that she intervened and saved Kaido from Whitebeard than anything else.
