Jack is a confirmed fishman... All of that easily applies to Jack, and it fits the Zoro v. King, Sanji v. Queen, Jinbe v. Jack trio theme.
There is no “trio” theme that has ever been established for those matchups. Further, why would Sanji fight someone stronger than Jinbe fights when he’s weaker than Jinbe? Not to mention, both Nekomamushi and Inuarashi have called Jack.

Because Jinbe is weaker than Sanji on land... This isn't a Naval battle. If it was, then yes Jinbe would get the stronger opponent.

Its okay if you had Jinbe vs Jack as your opinion.

But ill stick with Inu + Neko vs Jack and Sasaki vs Jinbe. :kayneshrug:
You got people in alignment about this, don't worry.

A good story doesn't make all of the protagonists equally overshadow other characters in the story.

A good story allows secondary protagonists to also shine and have payoff.

I vehemently believe Sanji and Jinbe will have great fights. But I disagree they will be against YC's like Luffy/Zoro.

There are other Supernova captains who act as Luffy and Zoro's rivals and require plot payoff. For them to be overshadowed by Luffy's 3rd and 4th strongest members is where it becomes overkill.

Oda did this wonderfully at DR, where only Zoro really took out an executive. The rest were done by secondary protagonists and Franky.

We have 3x the villains this arc, and where Sanji/Jinbe can have plenty of interesting setups that don't require them surpassing billion bounty Calamities in one arc. The room needs to be left for other higher powerhouses in the story to do their thing.

Jinbe tied Ace on land years back (who was invited to Shichibukai). He blocked Akainu, and went toe to toe with Big Mom.

He owned Moriah with a single hit who was = Curiel, i.e. Tobi Roppo level. If he's getting a single fight, it's clearly Jack. Sasaki ain't gonna do shit.

Curiel isn't Toppo level, he's Tamago Opera level

The Mid Five of the Whitebeard Pirates are probably the 6-10 commanders

*giant facepalm*

(1) Curiel is the 10th division commander, and Izo is 16th. Izo is clearly the strongest after the Top 3.

(2) Oda himself stated division numbers have NOTHING to do with powerscaling. Oden was strongest at 2nd. Vista > Thatch, and he was 5th. Izo is dead last.

(3) Izo and Curiel were clearly the two most prominent guys after Marco/Jozu/Vista.

Kind of unfair to call Sasaki 'not' a top tier (your definition) when Marco also got distracted and caught, or the fact that we know NOTHING about Sasaki in the first place.

Also Ace wasn't a top tier and he only stopped one attack from Akainu that hurt him
"One attack from Akainu" took Whitebeard's skull off.

If Jinbe can block these, Sasaki ain't tickling his nutsack

Stop disrespecting him. Sasaki ain't on his level.
