The Straw Hats winning here would serve absolutely no narrative purpose other than to fellate the ego of idiots in this fandom who have directly tied their own personal self-worth with how strong a minority of characters perceive Luffy to be lol.
The Straw Hats losing here would actually throw the entirety of the EOS into chaos.
From Oda’s perspective, which of these two possibilities do you realistically think will keep readers coming back for more lol?

There is a reason why Oda introduced 9 Vice Admirals, Lucci already got his moment of shine already and even though some of us were joking about Zoro fighting Luffy's leftover earlier in the thread.
But in truth, it does feel weird for Zoro to have a full fight against a character who we have already seen in combat.
This makes me think that three things might happen:
1. Zoro easily defeats Lucci
2. One of the Vice Admirals comes in and knocks Lucci out
3. Someone comes in and imprisons Lucci in a bubble similar to how Kaku got imprisoned
Once Lucci is quickly out of the way, I think that's when Oda will probably have Zoro fight his true main fight which is one of the Vice Admirals and we all know which one.
But in truth, it does feel weird for Zoro to have a full fight against a character who we have already seen in combat.

2. One of the Vice Admirals comes in and knocks Lucci out

The way Lucci spoke about himself and Borsalino, it seems like he's much stronger than the VAs.
Oda isn't going to have him be replaced by a character of inferior hype.
IMO Luffy nailed the coffin on VA hype.

There was no moment where Luffy overpowered kaido/BN guards with base/g2g4/g3 attacks (unamed or named ones)
The only time Kaidou's guard was overpowered was when Hybrid Yamato (with adcoc) attacked her

I don't think he gets folded but we might see Luffy => Kizaru and of course Kizaru is 58 and has already peaked, soon to start decline while Luffy will continue to grow stronger. Why decline? Because no OP character past 60 has been in their prime, the best years are ≈ 40-60.
Distance between Kizaru "first mate Admiral" and Akainu is 100 % same as between Zoro and Luffy. So at the moment
Akainu => Luffy => Kizaru => Zoro but in time that will change.

What narrative purpose does a Yonkou Crew who is already doubted by everyone (Bonnie, Lucci etc.) losing serves?
Oda has been setting some answers to be responded "I don't acknowledge Strawhat as a Yonkou" and they very clear.
The Strawhats are winning here and establishing themselves as a real threat.
Admiral fans should only hope Kizaru puts up a good fight because this was over before it started.
Also this is a clear mirror from Sabaody and the Strawhats are not losing again, just like the raid didn't fail.
