Its true though that in FI Luffy and Zoro were probably closer to each other in strenght than now. Now Luffy is Nika, there is only a few people in the world that can give him a good fight.
Not true, the gap was way wider during Fishman Island arc.
Thankfully Luffy learned Future Sight in WCI, advanced CoA in Udon, advanced CoC and awakened his DF in Rooftop, so Luffy slowly catches up again and the gap is now less.

Seems like it and I don’t mind it I like Lucci a lot and it’s even good for the two of them powerscaling wise they can give us an impressive showcase but it’s also weird to me because Zoro doesn’t usually have full on fights with people that don’t make use of blades of some kind. I mean I guess we can get more rankakyu action, maybe Lucci’s claws/fangs can be highlighted more especially in his awakened state.

This fight is actually a great indicator of how close Zoro is to Gear 5, we know Zoro doesn't go 100% off the bat but if he does I wonder how long Lucci will last but we'll see.

There's still a possibility of Zoro having a moment with Kizaru, especially with all the callbacks to Sabaody.

zoro vs Lucci==>low Diff, Luffy Vs Kizaru==>high Diff, Saturne==> Evil Kuma try to kill a weakened luffy who cant fight properly but Zoro intervene vs saturn by that point the dome will be down and strawhats will be escaping. Luffy and zoro join them last with luffy using his rubber to make them fly to the ship. Saturne and a pissed york Try To destroy the sunny using motherflame but fail. The Strawhats escaped shocking the world.

I still think Zoro's main fight will be a seraphim, likely Hawk or Bear.
Saturn's gonna take control of seraphim one way or other, so the seraphim fight is still possible. Besides we still haven't seen them utilize their abilities properly. That would be good opportunity to showcase it.

Zoro vs Lucci was setup in the same chapter as Luffy vs Borsalino.

Lucci said that as long as he and Borsalino are here the alliance would be annihilated. To which Zoro replied that he's underestimating them.

Zoro and Lucci also moved to a separate location (which is similar to how the King fight started as well).

Seems like this is Zoro's big fight of the arc.

The setup seems very clear and pretty strong.
Considering how weak and useless Lanji is, I'd say that Deathbed and Bubbled Kaku is his only chance at an actual W this arc. :kailaugh:

NGL once things starts to seem against the marines I want Kizaru to remember and curse not ending them all in Sabadoby.

Remember when people on this forum said monet > zoro, wanking her for making luffy struggle a bit? Remember when they said she is an actual threat to zoro and an enemy not to underestimate?
They never said this because WG wasn't around when Money and Zoro fought. Besides if you think Zoro is going to low or mid-diff Lucci you might be disapointed.
