I promised myself I wouldn't raise my expectations due to pre-release trailers. I couldn't keep that promise cause it looks genuinely well done so far. Now I realize I'm setting myself up for disappointment lol
If your expectation is " high budget fan film made as a tribute to Oda's work and a love letter to the hardcore One piece fandom" then you may be pleased. However if the expectation is " The new hot mainstream show that will have non anime and manga folks chomping at the bit for a second season" then you will be disappointed. Unfortunately the mission statement was the latter and they failed from the moment I saw Inaki's performance. But I'm sure the fans will find something to love about this passion project.

Eh? Neither really. Given past live actions my expectations are "I won't die from cringe watching this show". You might think that's too low, but I won't get fooled again lol

Welcome to the House of Hope
Created a thread to talk about the episodes.

If I'm not on, ask any mod/admin to open it as soon as it launches.

TRY and avoid going to the final episodes and posting a bunch of prints in the first minutes just for the sake of "spoiling" the LA.
I know it's hard. But I believe in you all.
