I think im ready to pound the gavel. I'm 90% sure we're getting a second season. The show has good reviews and it seems it'll attract a lot of eyes to it. Season 2 at least is almost a guarantee.

1 ep would cover loguetown and reverse mountain

then 1 ep for each of the irrelevant lead up "arcs"

why would they need more than 4-6 (if they extend to 10 eps) episodes for an arc that could be condensed in half in the anime

10 eps maybe works

I think the real problem is the money. It seems like they're not shying away from the powerscaling aspect Mihawk cut a galleon in half with a flying slash and it only gets crazier from now on. Imagine how much money you'd have to invest on for a water 7 or a wano season.

Either s1 is so successful that they end up with a massive budget for s2 OR the show gets cancelled OR they rush and compress everything and rewrite the plot to become yet another brainless Hollywood teen drama*cough Korra s1 cough*

weekly release decreases viewership by 45% from dropping it all at once


if this gets renewed, they could stagger ep drops

ie 3 on release, then 1-2 a week
