No, why are you so hung up on Open?
Sukuna can transfer/copy the adaptation of Mahoraga to his soul.
Logically, if he could use Open to bypass infinity he would have used it to fight Gojo.
It would be cool if Sukuna can bypass infinity with Open, but like others said, last 10 chapters were for nothing, just a fan service.
I think Sukuna getting Mahoraga's adaptation will be more interesting and it will allow him to use Open on Gojo. The fight will be fair after this;
1) No 3 or 2v1 against Gojo
2) Gojo cant use infinity
3) Sukuna using his own CT and attacks against Gojo's defense other than infinity and maybe some new attacks.

If it happens then Sukuna was just toying with Gojo and it will be just meh. Simply, too good to be true.

You're arguing that either one of the gift or open being effective means sukuna gets two Trump cards. But that's not necessarily the case. Only one of them could also be the Trump card. We don't know which. I am partial to open myself.

This in regards to open flames. It implies that other sourcerers would know about it. So it's different from his CT most likely.
