Your in the same continent as some of the richest countries and would be pretty hot area right
and border on the atlantic

off topic but love the black lagoon pfp
such as
Not cheaper, its hard to become a public servant here, but you will never go unemployed if you do.
Educational/Cultural problems:since the colonial period Brazilians have pretty poor education, back when we were at war with Paraguai 90% of the population couldn't read. This has improved over time of course, but there are still people here that can't even read in fucking 2023.The education system in general is pretty shitty overall too.The biggest reason we are poor is because of draconian legislation. The gov taxes everything(and i mean everything),the cost of living here is artificially high thnx to these policies. On top of that, get ready to have 1/3 of your income axed when you start earning a certain amount. There are many monopolies here too.Gov adopts protectionist policies, which makes foreign investors and businessman to shy away from here.So industrialization here happens in a very slow pace.Judicial instability:laws here change all the time from night to day.New president here means new legislation pretty much.Lula axed most of the things Bolsonaro did for example.I wont even mention the security problems.Despite all of that we are still a big ass economy,we can be developed one of these days.I just dont believe i will see this in my life time.
edit:cultural marxism is a big deal here too. Most politicians and high class citizens flirt with socialism/communism.You guys know where this leads.
