To me, Sasaki had good trust on denjiro. Maybe due to some past events but that's what situation implies. Denjiro capitalize that trust of Sasaki on him to catch him off guard.

It doesn't reflect Sasaki is fool but denjiro is cunning.

Well, yes but isn't this disappointing? Imagine these ALMIGHTY YONKO being chained up by commander level characters.
( Queen's case was different so I don't bring it up)
It damages the portrayal of the stronger characters for me.
Denjiro should at least slash him and then chain him and it would be more believable for me.

No Queen case isn't difference. Being offguard is a stable in OP. Kanjuro is proof of that. Why would he need to slash him if he restraint him. I agree Denjiro should of killed him though

Imagine there are people who forget about Izo's existence.
It doesn't matter that Oden was dead.
If Izo asked Whitebeard if he can help him get his country back from the hands of Kaido where he was way weaker 20 years ago I don't see Whitebeard not accepting his request.

Izo was one of the closest people to Whitebeard + he stayed with him while Oden and the rest moved on to Roger's ship.
Oden leaving WB crew or not Whitebeard still thought of him as a brother.

That still doesn’t explain why Sasaki, who’s already been shown to dislike or distrust everyone else around him, suddenly has a soft spot for this one guy. It’s hard (at least for me) to give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to Denjiro based on what we’ve seen of his standoffish personality.

Surprisingly people are having a hard time understanding the Denjiro/Sasaki pages. Even though we have the RAW images and rough translation.

There was no 'fight' per say. Sasaki thought Denjiro was Kyoshiro, an ally. It's a drink/party scene and the insinuation is that Kyoshiro was able to trick Sasaki.
