Ngl this chapter is very disappointing for Kizaru compared to the initial leaks.

No ACoC from Kizaru
Snakeman not using ACoC or even ACoA. Not even any named moves
Luffy only took damage because of the laser barrier instead of Kizaru’s kick
Kizaru looks like he wants to cry at the end

To those who can't see the whole chapter, you can resort to reddit. Seeing the entire chapter, it was a solid fight where Kizaru resorted to an attack that though he knows won't kill Luffy, would be enough to give him time to accomplish his mission. However, he miscalculated since he's unaware of the power bestowed by Gear 5.

He has definitely used aCoC in that kick last chapter. Oda is very careful with drawing the Haki sparks and he definitely did no exclude them with the kick. Luffy cannot hit Kizaru even with Snakeman so there really isn't any point in using aCoC.

It does lol , g5 has lower defense than other gears , only reason luffy surviving is fuckin drums of liberation drama which keep recovering him damage.

I understand that u have no idea about how physic works...he didn't "recover" from damage...pumping up energy is not recovery...it was implied that Luffy is already on last legs prior to G5...there was lot of damage accumulated prior to G5...so no..Luffy took superficial damage in g5 at best...it is not "near death" damage like u r suggesting...Luffy didn't have as much trouble as he was before g4 in fighting Kaido...G5 pretty much has upper hand over the whole fight...
