Yeah, the problem is that. Sometimes Oda draw them, and another time...he doesn't.

Luffy 1010 had trails:

However, Luffy G5 with a much stronger CoC doesn't have any, even if Kaido told us explicitly he was using CoC lol

Loda is simply too inconsistent with advanced conqueror's haki, and advanced armament haki.

There is simply no clear cut way to say which type of haki is being used. It's purely on the author, no point trying to figure out who is using what.

well tbf it doesnt work like seastone so technically kizaru could prob turn himself to tiny fragments and transport out of there.
He shouldn't be able to do that since Haki touches the real body of a DF user. If Kizaru can slip away from a haki grip then that breaks the whole haki system. Remember how Ceasar was trapped using haki? It's the same.

Truly lol.

One has no way to know aside from guessing and think about the situation and how serious is the threat.

Lol. People put to much into this. Oda is not gonna send Old guys flying. It didn't happen to Whitbeard despite being completely outnumbered and weakened by sickness. Oda choreographs the fights differently based on AGE AND PERSONALITY. If someone is young and dumb, then expect a lot of flaying, punches, kicks. If someone is old and at least relatively smart then expect a stable fight where people exchange blows without much hiccups.
These guys think Rayleigh gonna stop Kizaru if he flies away from sabaody and will follow him lol
Especially when Ray doesn't have gepou like Garp nor is he in prime to leap that far
Kizaru went up in the sky and far from the island

Even Shanks didn't jump high in the sky, he jumped fast heading forward where kid was.

Haki doesn't prevent them from transforming. It only helps you touch their real bodies. It's been explained against Caesar.
