Future Events Pewpiece comfirmed there will be a break after 1093... here is what i think about Odas Breaks

▪︎ I know that we had the supposed Eye Surgery,Live Action going on and the Jump Festas etc. and so on BUT i truly believe that these many Breaks arent simply because of the Eye Surgery and Live Action if you ask me cause we got tons of Breaks even before and recently we had like 2 Chapters in 2 Months...


▪︎ Im convinced that Oda is simply ashamed to tell his Fanbase that he hasnt the Power/Endurance anymore to drop 3-4 Chapters in a row due to his Age and Health and so many Years of Work... which is something i totally understand and it doesent even make mad or something hes a Human thats normal.

Just write novels. Buy yourself quality time and let the youth draw the manga. Is nothing hard that you have to do it yourself.

Because he has like 30 years as mangaka or in this business? Just being 48 is not a big deal but all those years or drawing we saw how some mangaka got back problems and stuff.

Bro, he has been doing chapters then break since 2015 after he got super sick with Tonsillitis in DR. Jump mandated these breaks for him, because yes, he is older now and is still their top selling mangaka.

The reason breaks were extremely bad this summer was due to 3 other breaks on top of his own personal breaks. The personal breaks do not stop, they are still mandated to 3, sometimes 4, chapters.

Rough example (from memory, do not know how accurate this is):


- 1084-1086
- Personal Break
- 1087
- 4 week break (Eye Surgery)
- 1088/1089
- Oda Break
- 1090 (it landed on a jump double issue)
- Jump break
- 1091
- USA (Netflix) break
- 1092/1093 (we are here)
- Oda break

It obviously aint that ridiculous lol. Dragonball Super and Boruto are not drawn by Toriyama and Kishimoto respectively. Berserk is being drawn by Miura's assistant team after he died.

When you do this Work for over 20+ Years and arrive at the Age 48 its not easy at all when you arrive at the Age of 48 hopefully you will see that this Age aint a Joke either even if you maybe dont do hard work

Yes it does because Oda is slowly decreasing because of the breaks. This year maybe will be less than 30?

From the little understanding of MAnga world, the time between writing the Name and drawing the manga is like 0.4/0.6.
Even if he were to have someone else write (which NEVER works, see Dragonball or Boruto), the time for the Name will still be significant.

Not it is not. Drawing is much more time consuming. And when you let others do the work you can have a whole team doing the draw not just a single person.

Even if drawing is just 50% slower than writting/typing as you claim to be that only counts if it is a single person do the drawing. When you have a team doing it the time saving is much bigger. 2 people drawing for him already makes Oda drawing itself twice slower than writing.
