what was the point of sukuna saying that he wasn’t at full strength and if purple hit it would have been fatal to gojo saying sukuna wasn’t going all out, what was the point of gojo dominating for an entire chapter, what was the point of sukuna feeling fear, was he deceiving himself and the casts, what was the point of gojos getting his rct back just to be cut, was was the point of telling us that simian has lost his rct and his health bar and cursed energy was low per his own words and character words

Gojo himself said that Sukuna was holding back and wasn't able to show off every thing he had. And that he isn't sure who would win between him and a Sukuna without 10 s. Meaning Sukuna, Full powered Sukuna with 20 fingers and nothing else, no Yorozu gift, no Curse tools, was arguably as strong as or stronger than Gojo.

Gege chose to make this fight a Gojo vs 10 shadows fight. Probably to give at least some importance to Megumi and the Zenin family, and to Justify Gojo saying Megumi with 10 s had the potential to surpass him.

That's on Gege. Not Sukuna. Sukuna just got confirmed as the strongest ever by Gojo Satoru himself. Nothing can take that away from him.
