Well fuck... I guess Yuji is going to have to step in and do.... Something... At this point I don't now what Yuji can do, but he's the protagonist, so he needs to get the finishing blow somehow.
Gojo would know better than any of us as readers if Sukuna could beat him and his "invincible ability" or not.
I like Gojo more than Sukuna but this fight, and this chapter in particular, were used to tell us that even if Gojo is great, Sukuna is ultimately above him. Had he not had 10 Shadows, he would have gone with a different strategy. It's not up to us to come up with how Sukuna would win in that situation, and the manga won't show us, but Gojo himself has already told us his chances in that scenario.
I dislike that Gojo's death was pretty much off-screened (how do we go from him looking fine and confident to being Yamamoto'd and dead in a single chapter???), and I feel like there was still a lot more to be explored about him if he was kept alive.
What if he lost his CT because of this fight? He'd probably go through an identity crisis since he was associated with being the strongest for so long. That's when Yuji and co. would step up to fight Sukuna imo.
What about defeating Kenjaku and finally getting to bury Geto's body? Too bad that won't happen either.
Anyway, unfortunately we also have to switch from Goatjo and Fraudkuna to Fraudjo and Goatkuna, by Gojo's own admission that Sukuna was holding back.
And on that note, why was Gojo showing so much respect after all that confidence in the battle? Gege needs to answer for his sins
