Choso being introduced to be close to Yuji and a good guy killed any chance for Kamo to be one day useful or relevant

Choso was just better in every way

And he also didn't have the restrictions Kamo had lol. Kamo would die by using super nova and stuff. Sad tho. Kamo had potential to be strong and for a good character arc too. We could have learned more of the intricacies of the three clans and all that through him.

I think even canon Megumi can beat Choso (a Superior user of Blood Manipulation), no need for an even stronger sorceror (potentially 9 shadows tamed).
