Just as it would be odd for Lucci to stop using Haki for defense. So either
1. his awakened body with possibly Tekkai is above his Haki defense or
2. He is also using Haki but Oda isn't visually depicting it

We see Haki , it's invisible to one piece world not to us.
Whereas Tekkai is invisible for both of us.
Tekkai is based on Their physical stats whereas Haki is will power.
And awakened Zoan's have Boosted physical stats.

Dude stop. Oda has always been inconsistent when it comes to coloring in Swords with haki. One panel they are colored, the next they are not. It's nothing new. This is just hardcore cope right now.

If Zoro doesn't low diff Lucci when we get the "Zoro vs Lucci" chapter, then he's not a Top Tier.

Any bona fide Top Tier should be able to low diff Lucci if they're serious.

Gear 5 Luffy is probably a Top Tier even without Haoshoku coating, and we already saw how G5 Luffy vs Awakened Lucci went.

I've already said that I don't really believe Zoro is a top tier but I'm open to change my mind depending on his future performances.

Now Zoro suddenly did not use haki brcause his swords are not black despite a chaoter prior, Zoro used haki to block Lucci's kick.

Haki was supposed to be invisible, then Oda went back on it and now we have this weird problem where Oda doesn't feel obligated to stress on the visuals because he can just pull out a sentence or two to clarify what kind of haki clash is going on

Awakened Lucci showed koka against luffy and sentomaru
He's just not using it against Zoro. Just invisible haki at best
