Nah honestly if oda planned on Yamato joining he would’ve written Yamato differently. Yamato even prior to the break was set up as Momos next retainer and Yamato never showed any actual dream of their own. Just Oden cosplay.

I agree! I think the reason she didn’t join is because with her the SH would be too powerful for now. With her in the crew yonkou crews are not balanced. Even now I feel like the Strawhats>other Yonkou crews. Maybe excluding redhair pirates. Imagine if Yamato was egghead island with them now. It would be too easy. So she will join right before laughtale and be part of the strawhats for the final battle against the WG.
