This is 👖 characterization at its finest, he's being himself chilling in the afterlife
👖 never cared about anyone but himself, but now that Sukuna broke him and cleaved him in half he can't but pause and admire
He died, atleast let him get all of his feelings out in the afterlife. It was definitely a slap in the face for Gojo fans but there is nothing weird about it writing wise.
Literally impossible. Sukuna can’t use DE at all anymore, lost Mahoraga, lost Agito and its components, and burned through enough CE that he has slow healing now. Actually how would Sukuna even avoid being one shot by Kashimo’s DE? Kashimo’s gonna look hella fraudulent if he doesn’t even have a DE

Sukuna still has a trump card saved. Something that is apparently a bigger threat response than Maho and his DE.
Also, look at this fight narratively from a couple of perspectives:
1. Gege is heavily inspired by Hunter x Hunter. The one-time boosts in that series are:
- Kurapika gets massively more powerful when he fights the Phantom Troupe
- Gon getting his adult mode against Pitou, which straight up elevates him to Meruem's level
If Kashimo's boost is similar to any one of those, he's going to get boosted to Gojo/Sukuna level.
2. Sukuna is holding back a trump card. Kashimo is holding back a one-time CT they've never used. The fight is literally set up as a battle of those hiding trump cards.
gojo died as gojo satoru
not as the strongest
That’s why y’all are saying that this completely contradicts gojo’s character
But that isn’t the point , this is the only time where gojo can finally come out with all of his feelings and not just look as a symbol of strongest

We can accept the fact that Sukuna was always meant to be stronger than Gojo.
We can also accept the fact that Gojo glazing over Sukuna was terrible character writing and almost assassination to his theme of being the Strongest. Adding he’s not sure to whether he could defeat Sukuna without Ten Shadows was like desecrating on his already embarrassed grave.
Both ideas can co-exist together peacefully (maybe).
