Saturn, who has remained discreet in his boat since his arrival on Egghead, suddenly reveals his identity and his powers all of a sudden.
I wonder what pushed him to such an extremity.
I find it hard to believe that this is simply due to the loss of the Pacifista Mark III.
Saturn views humans in general as disposable, but he already made it clear in the past that he doesn't like wasting military assets, like the Mechanized Sea Beasts. To Saturn, the Marines aren't people, they're weapons.
If all he has to do is issue a single order to stop the Pacifistas and Marines from meaninglessly killing each other, it makes sense for him to do it.
Like, it a bunch of your weapon stockpiles and soldiers were about to be destroyed, and all you had to do was show up and say "stop" and you could prevent it from happening, of course you'd prevent it from happening. Saturn probably didn't WANT to do this, but, hey, the Straw Hats are a pain in the ass, they always make things difficult.
I am so glad there isn't a break next week.
