One Piece readers are so down bad that they think Luffy and Zoro aren't going all out amidst a literal world shaking/life or death event; especially when Luffy is pretty explicit about always going all out.

I mean Emperors are in a deadlock, they arent far from each other power wise, it makes sense to me that he backed off from Shanks and crew since Shanks alone can give him the business. Add his crew and its a certain loss. He wasnt about dying in the middle of nowhere. He wants his death to be remembered and to be legendary.

Nah he went there to die in MF, it was a huge war. He was giga salty that WB died and he was still around hence why he wanted to start a huge war. To reenact MF or something like it.
