The extremely loud, Admiral hating and obsessed peacocks/howler monkeys love to suddenly go quiet and ignore Kizaru no selling Gear 5 and not having the goofy OTT reactions/toon force effects from it until now and even then hes not getting the whole obnoxious, way overused already pop out eyes either.
Honestly to think of it, I think Shanks would be just like this if he faces Gear 5th too. Just no selling it and Luffy barely able to affect him with it, especially not the eyes popping out unless Oda decides to make Shanks do it for the gag anyway lol. Depends on how seriously he wants to portray Shanks in that time too ofc.

It was part of the narrative there imo.
Luffy's strongest attack at that point being shrugged off by Kaidou like it was nothing.
While Kaidou's Roaring TB had Luffy desperately trying to hold himself together.
Nobody can tank attacks like Kaidou tbh, i'd be surprised if the finisher v. Kizaru is 1/10th the size of Bajrung Gun.

then gorosei being summoned in like a final villian and killing someone for being too damn weak and looking at him all i can hear is this music playing when he is summoned

I'm pretty sure there won't be your prototypical 1-vs-1 with Saturn.
They'll all hurry for the escape and in the meantime that Giant Ancient Robot emerges and stalls Saturn only to blow up the island with him on it afterwards (that's my wild guess).
