You Americans are not Saudis,but this is a middle eastern problem and democracies like we have in the west is not something that is standard there.Palestinians becoming Israelis would cause an internal political problem and would eventually become an existential threat to Israel.They need to create a Palestinian state there.

I don't know how stable a democracy would be. I think the two sides just hate each other too much for that to work. I don't think democracy works in every single region in the world.
Some regions just seem to be better governed without democracy. Places like Russia and China have never had democracy. And honestly that's fine.
I think a monarchy or a communist dictatorship would probably serve as a unifying force and create a common national identity.

To summarise then, fighting back by whatever means, is justified. Wether that's bombing homes, hospitals, schools etc as they're fighting invading terrorists.
By that same logic, there shouldn't be any complaints about how Palestinians choose to fight back against the invading nazi zionist terrorists. They're only defending their lands and people.

Fighting back is acceptable,but targeting civilians is not.Even back in the middle ages this was seen as a disgusting and cowardly act,despite it being common ofc.Hamas should have focused the ground attack on military targets.Now they gave Israel the excuse they needed to deploy never before seen force on the gaza strip.
