Haki > all, haki counters everything. What this chapter tells us is that Bonney and Lanji have similar levels of haki and strength, that move kills anyone weaker than a Commodore so they are stronger than a random commadore.
Saturn is giving him the same diff he's giving the rest of the team and he went on to strangle Bonney while ignoring him.
Sanji may later break free and do something cool (he may even save the day down there), but all this cope about Saturn feeling threatened by his presence is really counterproductive. It's so silly.
Not quite because we already know that his snipe ability only kills people weaker than commadore rank. But yes stronger haki than Saturn should cancel any hax he has.
